86. Nicolas Cusanus, Opera
An
edition of Nicolas Cusanus published by Parisian humanist printer,
Jodocus Badius Ascensius with one of his printer's devices featuring
a printing press. This device[1]
was used from around 1507 and shows a more primitive type of
a printing press compared to a more robust one which begins
to appear as a printer's device from around 1520. The latter
is used in John Major, Historia Maioris Britanniae
(no.82) published in 1521.
